Dream on 3
Davco holds Dream on 3 close to the heart. Dream on 3 makes sports dreams come true for children with chronic illnesses, intellectual & developmental disabilities, or life-altering conditions by creating experiences of joy and magic through the world of sports.
Since teaming up with Dream on 3 in 2017, Davco has sponsored 4 dreams and will continue to sponsor 2 dreams per year.
In 2017, Davco competed in a campaign against six other Charlotte Businesses. We were honored to win the campaign and be named the “Queen City Business of the Year”. We were able to raise $267,000 in support of Dream on 3!
In the summer of 2019, President, Dan Davis, joined the Board of Directors at Dream on 3.

Samaritans Purse – Operation Christmas Child
Samaritans Purse is an organization that provides local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
In December 2019, our management team volunteered at a processing facility to assist with packing boxes for shipment. We look forward to continuing this annually.

Founded in 1976, Hope Haven Inc., a foundation of recovery, provides life skills for chemically dependent adults and families within a supportive residential environment leading to independence.
In December 2019, Davco teamed up with Hope Haven to sponsor a local family for the holiday season. Our employees exceeded all expectations, purchasing every item on the families wish lists and more.

St. Jude Children’s Hospital
Over the summer of 2017, twelve of our employees volunteered their time, on the weekends, to help build houses for families with children that suffer life altering illnesses. We also donated $8,000 towards this amazing cause.

Ronald McDonald House is known as “the house that love built”. Their mission is to provide a safe, affordable, and caring “home-away-from-home” for families of children receiving medical treatment in Charlotte-area medical facilities. In 2014, 2015, and 2016, Davco has continually donated resources to support the general fund.

Grace Centers of Hope is a non-profit, Christian organization committed to positively changing the lives of the unwanted, addicted, and homeless through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, personal accountability, life skills education, and work-related programs.
Starting in 2012 and continuing every year, Davco has donated money to support the efforts to build a new child care facility.

Davco has committed to donating $1,000 annually to assist in building a brand-new facility in downtown Concord, NC and provide funding for children’s programs.
